My Tale

                                                             

Ace is a beautiful goofball who loves children and playing with other dogs. He is highly food driven, so obedience training is a breeze. He has graduated from puppy school and attends a farm stay doggy daycare, where he has made lots of new friends and is a confident and happy boy.

Ace loves training time, since he loves to get treats for doing what you ask! His training journey is ongoing, but he has learned to Down, Wait, Stay, Stop (stop and sit at road crossings), Go Bed, and Shhh (to stop barking). He is crate trained for short periods. 

Ace is wonderful with young children and loves to play. His food drive means that you do need to keep an eye on where you leave your leftovers! 

Ace is a medium-energy dog who is happy with a good runaround, a sniff walk, or a day at daycare. He’s a big fan of lazing around on a comfy dog bed (or the couch) afterwards, and loves to chew his toys and stuffed Kongs. He is happiest when he can lounge close to you – ideally on you!

Ace is eager to please and loves to cuddle. He’s set to grow into a big dog who thinks he’s a lap dog!

Ace needs support and training on walks and in the car to build his confidence. He has worked with trainers who are confident he can learn to be brave outdoors with time and consistent, positive training (ie, treats!) He’s a gentle soul who needs a positive approach. Ace would also flourish in a home with a well-balanced dog companion who can give him confidence on walks. Good with cats.

Each puppy comes microchipped, desexed, vaccinated, flea & worm treated (vaccinations include Lepto & Kennel Cough).

– Adoption criteria applies.

– We prefer fully fenced, owner-occupied homes.

– As a non-profit organisation, we ask for a payment of $340 to help reimburse our costs as part of your adoption.
