My Tale

My name is Bear I’m approximately 2 years old and a Golden retriever x and rumour has it there may be a little husky in there! I lived a life tied up outside in the gravel so when I came to my foster home I was almost bald due to bad mange and also had no idea how to behave off a chain My how things have changed ….look at me know I have a beautiful coat of fur and have learnt so many things although Foster Mum says I still need a lot more training Im an intelligent boy who has learnt a lot quite quickly and now I understand basic commands such as sit , wait, and I’m pretty good with my recall unless there are chickens around and then I can’t help myself. I need a forever home where there are no chickens or ducks !’ I’m a pretty friendly boy who loves to play fetch and am happy to spend time cuddling up to my humans! I’m well socialised and a very friendly boy as I run with a number of dogs at my foster home! I’ve learnt to walk quietly on a lead however I will need more training in this area. I’m desexed , microchipped and registered and have a clean bill of health so I’d love to find a family who are experienced dog owners and who can train me and love me forever then please come and meet me in Waipu at my foster home
