My name is Donna Badorek and along with my biggest supporters, my daughters Baylee and Portia and my mum Jacqueline and Poppa Frankie, the name and organization “Donna Doolittle’s Animal Rescue” made its mark in November 2017 on Facebook.
I have been a Veterinary Technician for the past 5 years and a half years, working 45 hours + a week at Top Vets Kaitaia and when I’m not at work I dedicate what time I have left to the rescue animals, my own animals and my family. So, as you can imagine, I lead a very busy, but fun and rewarding life style.
Due to the nature of my job I am in the presence of animals that are constantly in need, due to abandonment, injury, sickness and abuse. I have always made it in my mission to provide them with the veterinary care, respect, love and dignity they deserve within my home. Establishing Donna Doolittle’s Animal Rescue has given me the opportunity to expand my resources, reach more people and gain trust and respect throughout the community.
Cost to Adopt a Dog / Puppy is $300, adoption forms need to be completed and you will need to meet the Dog / puppy prior to any adoption being confirmed and full payment taken.
My mission is......to be the voice for those that can’t speak. The unwanted, stray and/or abused animals.
