HI Im Casey

I was saying to myself just this morning, “Casey,” I said, “Casey, you know what you need? You need a person all your own.” So I sat down to write this post for the nice family that is helping me out, because apparently that’s the kind of thing they do – find awesome families for extremely intelligent and lovable, slightly older dogs who are…I shudder to type this…LAPLESS. That’s right: I have no lap to call my own. You say you’re looking for a dog??? That’s amazing! Because I am a dog! You say you knew that? Well, I like romantic cuddle sessions on the couch, snacking on meatballs, a human and dog buddy who enjoys the same is preferred. I like my home, I love snoring on my bed, or your bed, I love having something to chew all the time, ice creams, tug of war, smelly socks and balls. Dog parks and long walks are too chaotic for me, I do like a quiet stroll for a poop on someone else’s lawn and watching you pick it up, that always cracks me up. I’m about 4.5 years old, about 35 years in human years so my young crazy years are over, I just want to cruise.

Looking for gentle patient guidance to help me come out of my shell and continue my training. I had a pretty rough life before so I get pretty anxious being left that’s why I’d really love a dog buddy, I also need a high fenced area as I’m a bit of a houdini. 

Cats are a deal breaker for me, this is not negotiable. They took my balls, gave me all my shots, microchipped me, so I am ready for your lap, there is an adoption fee which goes to help the next rescue. I’m currently hanging out in Kumeu, Auckland with two male dogs, two teenagers and a mum who loves me soooooo much.

For All our Dogs we require you to either own your own fully fenced property or be able to supply written consent letter from your landlord.
