My Tale

Name: Cooper (Male)

Foster Location: Red Beach, Auckland

Age: Approx. 7 months old

Friendly, outgoing, and very clever guy with a heap of personality. Enjoys being around other people and is not nervous/shy in public spaces. He wants to meet all the dogs on the beach, big or small. He does not like to be left alone but should be fine if left with another dog. Loves to sit next to us and get cuddles. Cooper came to us underweight with zero training but is certainly gaining weight nicely and picked up basic commands quickly.

Cooper is currently living with 2 adults, no other pets but interacts well with small children and other dogs.

Cooper is fully toilet & crate trained.

Learning how to walk on a lead, learning recall, knows how to sit and is entirely food motivated.

Working on off-lead training. Cooper is very friendly and wants to interact with every dog on the beach and will try to run to them. We are working on recall.

Hi, my name is Cooper and I am wormed, de-fleed and had my first vaccinations. I am getting de-sexed 24 September. I absolutely LOVE my breakfast and dinner and all the treats in between. Walkies are my favourite time of day. I want to say hi to all the humans and dogs outside but sometimes they do not want to say hi to me, but I still act friendly and give them their space. I do not need any fancy toys, a simple stick to throw around will do. I am not a fan of water, so I stay far away from the waves at the beach. I have learnt my new name and come when called. I am a real softly and love to get snuggles. I am high-energy outside but very calm inside and love sleeping in my crate when I need a nap. My foster mom works from home and when she is busy, I find a comfy place to chill until she’s ready to take me out on my next walk.

I would suit a family who has other doggies for me to play with as I do not like to be alone. I need a high fence as I do like to explore. I am such a good boy who just wants all the love and attention. I would be a great addition to your new home and hope you would consider me to become your fur-ever best friend.
