COOPER – 10 MONTHS LAB / STAFFY X (IS OUR BEST GUESS)

Copper is a really sweet heart, he is very well behaved but can very sensitive to tone in voice at times. 

Cooper is energetic and loves to play. Cooper seems to relax well in his kennel and run as he has been left outdoors previously. However Cooper is learning how to be an indoor pup and at Friends with Tales we like our dogs to be treated as family and sleep indoors at night. 

Cooper has been learning extremely quickly with his foster family and has learnt already to sit, lay down, high five, wait for food and is learning his recall.  He is currently living in a rural environment with plenty of other dogs, and has been meeting Sheep and cows. 

Cooper loves his walks and already his lead walking is coming along very well, he’s pretty good at it. Even the kids are able to walk cooper.

Cooper has been Good with horses and cows right from day one, he has learnt extremely quickly how to behave with these animals and has displayed no bad behaviour. 

He has not been tested with cats. The foster parents cats are not very relaxed around him, so he has not been able to be tested.  

With any rescue pet it will take time for him to adjust to his new surroundings and further training for all situations like any new puppy is always required and recommended. 

Cooper is an extremely loving, kind, friendly and sociable boy who cant wait to find his new family.  He has been great with everyone including kids. 

If you wish to meet Cooper he is located in Waipu with his foster family. They may be able to organise a time to Meet in Maungaturoto or Warkworth on particular weekdays or weekends.   We would prefer for Cooper to be rehomed in a lifestyle area where he has room to play and run with his new family
