Grayson – Huapai Sanctuary

Grayson is an extremely handsome boy who is about 5 years old. He has a confident, calm personality and loves pats and “talking” to the volunteers. He will be fine with older children who understand how to interact respectfully with a cat. He is an indoor/outdoor cat, so will need a cat door, and a safe area to explore outside away from busy roads. He is great at using the litterbox. He would love to be your only pet, so he can have all the attention to himself.

Grayson is FIV+, but with no obvious health issues. FIV+ cats can live as long and healthy a life as non-infected cats. They are however immunocompromised, so illnesses can be easier to catch and harder to fight off. They have the same needs as any other cat: good nutrition, a clean and stress-free home, regular veterinary visits, and lots of love. If they become ill, they are generally treated earlier, and for a longer duration, than non-immunocompromised cats. Grayson is de-sexed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and vet checked. He has recently had his teeth cleaned. We ask for an adoption fee of $150 to assist us in continuing our work.
