My Tale

Hazel is a super sweet and loving 2 year old Border Collie x Huntaway. She was rescued from a bad situation and rehomed at just 6 months of age, due to her early stages of life, Hazel does unfortunately suffer from anxiety and does not cope being left alone for long periods of time. Due to this she will require a home where her owner can be with her for most of the day; someone retired, works from home, or she can go to work with will be ideal. Hazel needs a nice, quiet property, ideally rural that doesnt have a lot of traffic, and has a lot of room to run. 

Her owner says:

“Hazel is the sweetest, most tender hearted and loving dog. Considering how her life started out we are amazed and in awe of how far she’s come and how trusting and loving she is with her people. She is very sweet and friendly when she is confident and comfortable around people, and is very responsive to a calm, gentle tone. She loves having a job to do and will happily follow you around outside or in the garden. She loves to run and run and run, man is she fast! The dog park is her favourite place, especially when a tennis ball can be fetched from the river. She would thrive in a home that was calm and quiet, preferably rural or a farm as she needs lots of space to run. Her recall is good and she doesn’t often wander, unless it is to say hi to anyone going past the property! She loves a cuddle on the couch or bed if she’s allowed, and really needs someone who has the time and skills to give her all the love she needs to help her settle and grow.”

Adoption fee is $400 

This covers desexing, microchip, registration, and up to date on vaccinations, flea and worming treatments.
