My Tale

Looking for a special home.

We have named this young lady Jewel as she is a gem.

Jewel was abandoned by her family, the family moved home and
left her behind.

She waited and waited but no one came back for her.

Jewel was found by a lovely couple who noticed her cold,
dirty and hungry. 

She was extremely thin and had lost hair around her eyes, mouth,
and ears, she just looked broken.  They
took her home and gave her some food. 
The next day they notice her tummy looked swollen and her teats had grown.  Surprise, surprise she was pregnant.

We got a call to see if we could help.  We already had 7 pups we were hand rearing
but managed to find her a great foster home. 
On the way to her foster home she stole our hearts, she just wanted
comfort and love, so we decided to care for her until she was ready to go to
her forever home.

We gave her lots of love and good food and 10 days later she
gave birth to 10 healthy pups.

Jewel has been a fantastic mum and managed to feed all 10
babies up to now.  The pups are now over
3 weeks old and she is getting a little over it, but still persevering.  We are helping with feeding and get lots of
kisses from her, for our help.

Jewel needs a forever family.  She has had not much training.  However, she is desperate to please, food
motivated and learns new things fast. 

We believe she needs a family that love being our doors,
maybe into agility training as she is so fast and willing to learn.  She is already toilet trained and is learning
basic commands.

Jewels is a medium sized dog approx. 20kg

They will be an adoption fee and a contract associated with
Jewel, but the fee will include her vaccinations so far, de-sexing, microchipping
and putting on the lifelong microchip register.
