Please help find Kara her forever home. 

Kara is a 4.5 year old mastiff x (we think) who has had a rough start to life, having a bad first owner, followed by some time stuck in the pound and then rescued and chained up for the last few years. After contsant follow up for the last 3 years, I have finally managed to free Kara from her chain.

Kara is currently at her foster home getting lots of love. 

She is super friendly, playful and absolutely loves cuddles/smooches. She is happiest when she has her head on your lap and getting a scratch.

Kara would be best suited to a home where she is the only dog or a very experienced owner as she has some issues with food aggression stemming from her past. She is fine meeting and playing with other dogs but can be unpredictable at times when she is near resources (food and affection)

Due to her past Kara is still learning some manners when dealing with humans (jumping up and lead manners) as she has simply never had the experience or been taught, but aside from that has a lovely temperament. This may also mean she may not be suited to very young children due to the jumping and her size (30kg).
