My Tale

This is our beautiful boy Leo, sometimes Leonardo, who is now looking for his forever home. He is now 8 weeks old, had his first set of vaccines, and is microchipped. He’s a Saving Hope special so were unsure of his adult size. We’ve had the please of having Leo from 5 weeks old and he is the cuddliest puppy I’ve ever met!. When he first arrived he wasn’t as brave as his sister Lucy but now Leo has the heart of a lion!. His favourite things are playing with his toys, cuddling up on the couch, and looking up at you with puppy dog eyes that will melt your heart. We are a busy household with 2 German Shephards and 2 cats so he would suit a family who arent out all day. He does well with being left for short periods of time. He can politely wait for his food and sit on command. This week we are working on shake and lie down. He’s a smart boy who is very food motivated so should be easy to train. He is also crate trained and sleeps well through the night. Toilet training is slowly coming along! He’s great with our two dogs and has also learned that our cats are the boss of the house so he should be ok around dog-savvy cats. Leo has been an absolute delight to foster and is now looking for the perfect family. Fostered in Papakura
