My Tale

Oreo Female Age: approx 5 months

Location: Muriwai Beach

Hello, my name is Oreo. I am a gentle girl, who learns quickly and wants to please my foster mum. I love company and cuddles, and napping after a good walk outside.

I am doing very well with my toilet training, as long as you’re paying attention I know how to tell you I need to go outside. I’m even learning to go out in the rain when I need too.

I’ve been lucky enough to have two foster Mumma’s . They’ve taught me different skills for life: The first one had two other dogs to hang out with so I’m quite used to being around other dogs. My new foster Mum has me on my own, and I’m doing so well adjusting to being a solo puppy. I am learning to play with my toys and ask when I want to be cuddled. I’m sleeping in a travel crate at night and am very good at sleeping the whole night through. Once I go in there, I settle down and drift right off.

I’m learning to sit and I love playing engagement games with my foster Mum. I’m starting to understand “stay” as well. I learn quickly! She’s super proud of me.

I walk on the lead, I do get excited when I’m around new things but If you give me a little bit of patience I settle right down again quickly.

I would love a forever home that is active with me, I like to be out and about with a fair bit of energy to burn, and I like to have your company to do so. When I get home I’d like to be able to relax and play quietly.
