Peaches

Name: Peaches

Possible size (small, small-medium, medium-large, large): Medium

Short description of personality: Peaches loving social light that loves to play all day and sleep all night. Never far from her teddies, she loves playing with children. Works really hard to please, very food driven which makes her a delight to train. Enjoys stealing socks and stashing them in her crate. Working well towards being house trained. Peaches is a placid sweet wee girl.

Estimated DOB (month, year): Born beginning of March 2020

Any animals it has met or interacted with (older dogs, cats, livestock etc): Loves a good play with other dogs, curious about cats. Meet cows and is slowing getting use to them.

Whether they currently live with, or have had exposure to, children and the ages of those children: She loves children and eagerly awaits there return from school, children’s age 9 and 5

How confident or shy they are around people, other dogs, new places, traffic, etc: Confident around people other dogs. Gains confidence quickly if introduced to new places slowly same with traffic.

Toilet trained? If so, what stage they are up to?: 

Well on her way to being toilet trained, Routine toilet breaks after food and after a sleep. She is indicating when needing to be let out she just needs to master the dog door.

Crate trained?: Yes, the crate is her go to, she travels well in the car in her crate.

Basic training they have (good on lead, recall, food driven or knows basic commands): Good on lead, good recall, defiantly food driven, will sit and wait or food on command.

Any current behaviours that need work or that you are working on: biting while playing. The final stages of house training.

From Peaches: I absolutely love my bed especially when its filled with my teddies and blanket. I love having a good play and run around with my puppy friends, introduce a stick and I’m in heaven. I really enjoy play time when the kids join in, but I do like a bit of time out in my crate with my teddies. I’m unsure of big animals as I’m still so little. I never stray far from my humans. I love to please and be praised for my hard work especially if it comes with treats.
