SAMPSON IS UP FOR ADOPTION!! Approx 5months

You may of remembered the two dogs Delilah & Sampson that came into the rescue a few weeks ago?? Born out bush with no human interaction, they came to the rescue with no idea how to fit in.

Well Delilah has gone to her new home and Sampson has been fortunate to be in foster care with an amazing family one of which is a veterinary nurse

Sampson has made wonderful progress and this is what the fosterer has to say

“He’s a real people dog. Loves kids and being with you. A fast learner. Fine with cats. Crate trained. Good on lead. Happy to interact with quiet dogs. Good in car. Confident at the vets.

When interacting with new dog friends he may do a warning growl and snap at first introduction due to lack of confidence. Once he’s been around them for a bit he settles and wants to be close by. He is currently fostered in a house with other dogs.

He needs an owner who has time to dedicate to ongoing training and positive reinforcement. You need to be understanding of he’s personality and take responsibility to show Sampson what’s the right thing to do. He has just started started to play tuggy with the fosterers dog which is the first sign of him wanting to play.
