Shelby

Possible breed: Saving Hope Special (we don’t know the mix)

Shelby is a high energy puppy, very adventurous, into everything and loves to explore.  She gives great cuddles but will be chewing on a toy at the same time.

Estimated DOB (month, year): Approximately 7 weeks at 18^th June

Shelby adores playing with her 11mth old foster dog sister who is a big dog.  She has met our cats and she was extremely interested in playing with them (they give the dogs a wide berth).

Currently lives with: Foster mum and dad and a 12 year old big brother.  Shelby would be more suited for a family with older children as she is very high energy.  She would not cope with being left alone for extended periods.

Toilet trained? This is a work in progress.  If you take her outside she will go quite happily and at night she goes on the newspaper

Crate trained?: Loves sleeping in her crate with her sister Sophie, in the process of crate training

Basic training: Shelby is very food driven and this will help with her training.  She is still very young and is learning sit, off and “go toilet”.

Any current behaviours that need work or that you are working on: Shelby is learning what is OK to chew and what is not

From Shelby: I absolutely LOVE exploring. I am looking for a family who have lots of energy to keep up with me and will take me on lots of adventures.  My new family will also need to be experienced with dogs.  I love my food so if you have the best treats this will help with my training. If you are looking for a pup who is full of fun and will keep you on your toes, then I am the pup for you.
