Sophie

Name: Sophie

Possible breed: Saving Hope Special (we don’t know the mix)

Foster & Location: Wainui

Short description of personality: Sophie is a very affectionate pup who loves cuddles but also likes to explore and have a good play.  She is a little timid at times and at other times very brave.  Sophie is the first one to greet you and always ready for some affection.

Estimated DOB (month, year): Approximately 7 weeks at 18^th June

Other animals I have met: Sophie loves her 11mth old foster dog sister who is a big dog but isn’t into the rough and tumble like her sister is.  She has met our cats and didn’t pay them much attention (they give the dogs a wide berth).

Currently lives with: Foster mum and dad and a 12 year old big brother.  Sophie should be OK with a family with younger children as she is must more chilled than her sister.  She would not cope with being left alone for extended periods.

Toilet trained? This is a work in progress.  If you take her outside she will go quite happily and at night she goes on the newspaper

Crate trained?: Loves sleeping in her crate with her sister Shelby, in the process of crate training

Basic training: Sophie is quite food driven and this will help with her training.  She is still very young and is learning sit, off and “go toilet”.

From Sophie: I love to have a play and explore then it is cuddle time. I am looking for a family who will spend lots of time with me and give me unconditional love.  Sometimes when I am exploring outside I might come and sit on your lap and watch the world go by.   If you are looking for a pup who will love you forever then I am the pup for you.
