My Tale

Hi I’m Sue,  (A Boy named Sue) as of 13 September, it’s estimated that I’m 11 months old.

Saving Hope Special, possible Lab x . I’m wormed, deflead and fully vaccinated. I’m microchipped and desexed and ready to choose my forever person. I’ve had a pretty rough start in life and crave guidance and leadership

With the right instruction this sweet natured boy will grow into a confident well rounded dog. Sue has a very trainable disposition and has the basic commands in hand, however given his early insecurities in life he suffers from a mild case of separation anxiety and will need either a constant human companion or another dog as a mate. I have no doubt that in time and with someone willing to work through this with him that it will be easily overcome. Sue is great with other dogs and is fostered with 5 adult dogs and upto 21 puppies, He has no issue with chickens and although i think he would be fine with children and cats this is yet untested. Sue is a relatively low energy dog and would love someone to keep him mentally stimulated, he has a naturally calm temperament and with his own person will be very eager to please he just needs someone firm, fair and loving to show him the ropes and help him navigate the world and this boy will make an easy forever friend. Currently fostered 8kms north of KKK.

I am the first to come for a cuddle, I love to be near you and know what you are doing. I’m such a sweetie. I love watching and playing with humans and dogs and all of the other foster puppies here. I rush up to my foster mum when called, cause I love pats and tummy rubs. I love to play in the garden and explore, I love hide and seek in the big grasses and under the deck. I run and run then sleep and sleep, well I’m only a baby……I love to sleep outside with my big foster brothers on the bed in the shade. I’m fully toilet trained.

I’m looking for my forever family, if you have the time and patience for me I will reward you with never ending love and cuddles.

Fostered 8 km north of Kaukapakapa with Niki & Paul Morrison, with other Saving Hope foster puppies, my foster mums 5 dogs and 20 chickens.
