Hey humans, my name is Valerie, I was born 15 June 2020 with 7 other sisters/brothers.  My mum is a huntaway cross type dog, no idea on my dad unfortunately so not sure how big I will get.

I have a pretty cool life so far with my brother Victor who also lives with me with my temporary human foster family and this older dog, who are teaching me the way.  I wake up just before the sun comes up, as I know that I cannot pee/poo in my crate and need to go outside for bathroom time, then the fun starts, breakfast and then playtime, play fighting with my brother, running around endlessly, chewing these doggy toys (most of the time)  and endless zoomies around the house.  I then get tired and if I can I will try and go for cuddles with these humans – it’s great as I get my ears and belly get rubbed and this makes me sleepy before I head back into my crate for more nap time.  I then just repeat this through the day and it’s great and I love it!

Each day I’m getting a little bit braver and explore the deck and garden area, more plants to chew and dirt to explore.  Sometimes I forget that I have to toilet outside, but hey give me a break I’m just learning this toilet training thing!   Human mum says I should be good at training as I like my food, once I get a bit older I will know that not all things can be chewed or jumped on and I think I can follow instructions if I am taught well.

As well as my brother I love the adult dog as well, I follow him around all the time and try to play and go for cuddles with him, but I think he finds me annoying – think he has forgotten that he was a rescue pup like me once!

I’ve met other tall humans as well and I thought they were cool – unsure on these other miniature/smaller humans as I have yet to meet them.    Apparently, there are also things called cats and chickens, not met these yet but would have thought as I am young I can be trained not to annoy them as well.

Eventually once I’m vaccinated, I will need to go to my permanent home, my foster parents say they know that I will be loved just as much as they love me already in the short time I have been with them.  I think I will need room to run and play and also have company around.
