Avian Empire offers an online telemedicine consultation service with your feathered friends in mind. This online platform was developed to assist bird owners across New Zealand access services, information and support from dedicated and professional avian specialists.
Avian Empire can be contacted through their website, social media or email. Once contacted, Avian Empire send out an online fillable form, to help capture the patient’s history and book an appointment time on your choice of video platform. Your telemedicine call will be with an avian veterinarian and an avian rehabilitation and health consultant.
Cost: Flat-rate fee of $55.00 for 15-20mins
This covers the appointment and a follow-up. Extra costs include medication scripts/bloodwork/faecal work/crop washes etc.
