We first came up with the idea as we travel a lot so we are always on the hunt for new places to take our dog Scooter. Whether it be the beach, dog-friendly park, groomer, vet or any other services, we have always struggled to find where to take him. So we decided to create a helpful guide with everything you will need for your dog. Use our helpful map to locate your nearest dog park, vet, groomers, walkers and more. No matter where you are in New Zealand.

During lockdown we noticed how many dogs were being exercised at local dog parks and beaches, and then all of a sudden, as ‘normality’ returned the dogs disappeared and we were alone on our evening park walks. We want to use this platform to encourage dog owners to give their dogs a more adventurous and healthy life.
The Paw Planet app is an easy to use interactive map of New Zealand with a huge database of off-leash areas throughout New Zealand including rules and regulations guidelines, ratings and reviews submitted by New Zealand dog owners like you.
