About Us

Animal CARE Turangi (formerly SPCA Turangi) is a small rehoming centre for companion animals based in Turangi. We have been at our Hangarito Street Centre since 2007. We currently receive =/- 250 animals per year for rehoming. We are a registered charity. We assist the public and other rescue groups with rehoming kittens and puppies as well as the Taupo District Dog Pound. We mostly rehome pups, but do take in young dogs when we can.
