What started out as one lady's mother cat and kitten care mission... has turned to a small foster network that is working hard to rescue, rehabilitate, desex and rehome the Mother cats and kittens that come into our care. We are a non-profit organisation that relies on solely on donations from the public and when we do not have the donations to meet our costs, we provide from our own pockets.

Here at Poppelles our Foster kittens/cats are well socialized in our foster homes, they (depending on the foster home) are exposed to normal household activities, other animals such as birds/dogs/other cats, children (young and old), and with our founder Wendy they get the added bonus of exposure to a wheelchair, parrots and many visitors.
A wonderful donation we received.
The cost of providing suitable food, feeding equipment (bottles/teats), litter, worm and flea treatments, toys/enrichment tools, vet checkups and medication is substantial. We do not get any funding, we receive the majority of our donations from adoptions as well as a few regulars (you know who you are and thank you immensely). We are always in need of any donation you can spare. All donations are used in full to provide solely for the animals who have been surrendered or born into Poppelles Kitten Rescue. Donations of food, litter, newspaper, old towels/blankets and cat toys are greatly appreciated please message us to find out where you can drop these items off.
